Terms of service

These terms govern purchases made through this store. They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer in the European Union.

Who you are contracting with

Your contract is with the business named on our legal notice page, which also carries our registration and contact details.

How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract comes into effect when we confirm your order by email. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item is genuinely unavailable — we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

Prices

All prices are shown in euro and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping costs are shown separately at checkout before you confirm. The price that applies is the one displayed at the moment you place your order.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's encrypted payment processing. We do not see or store your full card details.

Delivery

See our shipping page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guaranteed dates.

Right of withdrawal and warranty

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal and a two-year statutory warranty. Both are set out in full on our returns page.

Using the product safely

The GrowPod is rated IP42: protected against dust and light water splashes, but not waterproof. It is for indoor use only. Keep the light unit and the power connection away from standing water, wipe spills rather than rinsing the electronics, and use only the supplied power adapter.

Plant results

Growing is biology, not machinery. We describe what the equipment does and how to get the best from it, but we cannot guarantee that a particular seed will germinate or that a plant will reach a particular size in a particular time. Our growing guide sets out what to expect.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

Slovenian law applies. As a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of the country in which you habitually reside, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you placed your order.
